Kim Allen BSc
Nursing Manager
Kim joined CJ Hall Vets in 2002 whilst she was studying Zoology BSc (Hons) at Royal Holloway University of London as a weekend assistant, and subsequently became full time after she gained her degree. She became Nursing Manager in 2008, and is in charge of the nursing team, as well as being the self appointed IT department for the surgery. Her particular interest lies in birds, with crows being her favourite animal. Kim has a grumpy leopard gecko named Jeremy, keeps tropical fish and shrimps, and longs for a garden so she can one day own a dog. When not at the surgery, Kim's hobbies include going to concerts, bouldering and playing video games.
Milena Zmudzinska BSc RVN DipVNZS Cert VNECC
Specialist Veterinary Nurse
Milena qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2015 and joined CJ Hall in Feb 2017 after working in small animal practices. She holds the City & Guilds Diploma in Veterinary Nursing of Zoological Species (DipVNZS) and Certificate in Emergency & Critical Care (CertVNECC). Milena particularly enjoys small animal medicine and all aspects of exotics nursing, especially when it reflects positively on animal welfare. In her free time she enjoys gardening, painting, and completing puzzles. She currently has 3 cockatiels, a gecko named Jumanji, a dog named Oscar and 2 cats named Akira and Mizuki.
Louise Burke
Nursing assistant
Louise studied at Sparsholt College where she completed a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Animal Management. Shortly after college she got a zoo keeper job at Woburn Safari Park and at Colchester Zoo. In both jobs she had the chance to work with a wide variety of mammals and reptiles, from the cheeky meerkats to giant tortoises that chased her around the enclosure. Louise joined C J Hall Vets in 2008. She loves working with all the different reptiles, and has acquired 2 tortoises, George and Gilbert who were abandoned at the surgery. In her spare time Louise loves to travel, especially around the Cornwall Coast and the Lake district and has recently travelled to Costa Rica.
Seema Patel BSc
Receptionist
Seema graduated from Royal Holloway University with a BSc in Biomedical Science where she developed an interest in human and veterinary medicine while on an expedition in Honduras. She has worked at both human hospitals and veterinary surgeries but has particularly enjoyed the patients veterinary medicine brings! In her free time, Seema enjoys dance classes and embroidery.

Debbie is an italian greyhound cross who lives with Dr Matthew and enjoys zooming around, having a snooze under a blanket and most of all making friends! She is most helpful with shredding, sorting laundry and making sure no snacks are wasted.
